Palace On Wheels - A Handmade Bone and Horn Decorative Train

Jakir Hussain received the coveted National Award for this product. This is a 10-foot train, which is also one of Jakir's favourite art pieces. It took him four years to make it. In 2007, he started the work and completed it in 2011. Jakir also received a letter from the DC Handicrafts Ministry of Textiles.

Artisan Jakir Hussain dedicated countless hours to crafting the "Palace on Wheels," a stunning train that fused traditional palace splendour with modern engineering. Its exterior boasted intricate carvings and gold leaf accents, meticulously handcrafted by Jakir and his skilled team. Each coach represented a historical palace from different cultures, offering passengers a journey through global architectural wonders.
