Multi-Generational Craftsmanship

He is a fourth-generation durry weaver from Salawas, Jodhpur, who learned the craft from his grandfather and father. His son, Ratan Lal, weaves alongside him, while his other son, Chena Ram, serves as a weaving instructor at NIFT Chennai. Malaram began his full-time artisan journey at 12 with new designs and cotton yarn. Malaram finds joy in creating new designs and implementing fresh ideas.
